Alexander Laflin 1848-1893.

Alexander was the son of Hammond Laflin and his first wife Maria Wright and was born at the end of 1848. In 1851 and 1861 he was living with his parents in Bildeston.

In 1871, aged 21, Aleck Laflin (age 21) was lodging at 4 Swan Street, St Mary Newington, Lambeth and working as a fish monger. In the summer of 1876, Alexander Benjamin Laflin married Emily Starling in the Holborn registration district. Sadly Emily Laflin died the following spring, aged 22.

Then in December 1878 Alexander B. Laplin married Natalie Alice Wallace in Holborn. In 1881, Alexr & Nataile Laxlin were boarders at 4 Alfred Street, Islington and Alex was still working as a fishmonger.

In the 1891 census, Alexander and Natalie Laflin were living in 89 Judd Street, St Pancras and Alexander was working as a "dealer in fish". There was no sign of any children. Alexander Laflin died in in the autumn of 1893 at the age of 44.
