Catherine Barton (born Laflin) 1858-?.
Catherine was the daughter of Abraham Laflin and his second wife Mary Ann Halls and was born on 24th March 1858. She was baptised in Ringshall on 30th May 1859.

She was living in Ringshall with her parents in both 1861
census (when she was 3) and 1861 (when she was 13). She has not been found in 1871.
In the last quarter of 1879, Katherine Laflin married Shadrach Meschach Barton.
In the third quarter of 1880, their daughter Kate Mary A.Barton was born at Akenham.
In the 1881 census, they were living at Layham where Shadrack Barton was working
as a “groom gardener”. With them was their baby daughter Kate M. Barton.
In 1891, they were living at Melton near Woodbridge and Shadrach
was working as a coachman & domestic servant. There daughter Kate
was away from home in this census.
In 1901, Catherine & Shadrach M.Barton were living at Woodbridge and Shadrach was
working as a coachman. Their daughter Kate M. Barton was living at home.
In the third quarter of 1902, Kate Mary Barton married Ernest Robert Wix, who
died in 1817.
