Harry Laflin 1866-?

Harry was the son of William Laflin and Maria Abbott and was born in the summer of 1866, but was not baptised in Ringshall until 17th April 1870. In 1871, Henry (aged 5) was living with his parents in Ringshall and in 1881 (aged 15) and 1891 (aged 24), Harry was living with them in Barking and working as a farm labourer. In 1970, the sum of £10 was set aside for “William’s son Harry Laflin, if still alive”. This suggests he did not marry and had probably moved away from Ringshall by 1970.
