The Boxford registers contain the baptisms of seven or eight of their children, followed by Agnes' burial on 27th September 1597. There are no further records relating to this family and some of them moved to the neighbouring parish of Edwardstone, where the registers before 1645 are missing.

Their children were:
1. William Laughlinye baptised 22nd August 1574.
2. Thomas Laughlinye baptised 25th March 1576.
3. possibly Joseph son of Joseph and Agnes Laughlinye, baptised 1577.
4. Jasper Laughlinye baptised 15th May 1581.
5. Richard Laughlinye baptised 14th April 1588.
6. Henry Laughlinye baptised 6th August 1590.
7. Joseph Laughlinye baptised 2nd February 1592/3.
8. Edward Laughlinye baptised 28th January 1596/7.

The IGI showed the marriage of Henrie Laflin and Annis Mason in Colchester on 20 July 1618 and the baptism of two daughters, Annis in November 1618 and Marie in September 1620.

These children would have been old men by the time of the English Civil War (1642-1645) and so were unlikely to have taken part. Their father Jasper probably died there in the early years of the seventeenth century, say around 1620.
