In 1722, Benjamin Laflin married Ann Clements in Ipswich and from November 1723 to 1752, there are records of the family of Benjamin and Ann Laffley at Wetheringsett. It seems likely that this is the same Benjamin and Ann. The family of Benjamin and Ann Laffley was as follows:

1. Benjamin baptised in Wetheringsett 14th November 1723.
2. William, baptised 30th March 1725 and buried 12th December 1731.
3. Mary, baptised 5th June 1726 and buried 6th June 1737.
4. Ann, baptised 25th August 1728 and buried 25th December 1728.
5. Ann, baptised 25th October 1729.
On 10 May 1750, a base child of Ann Laffley was buried.
6. William, baptised 4th May 1733.
7. Eliza, baptised 11th February 1736.
8. John, baptised 2nd February 1738.
9. Abraham, baptised May 4th 1740 and buried 25th November 1776.
10. Jonathan, baptised 29th March 1742, married Ann Mounser 14th December 1771, buried 19th February 1784.
11. Honor, baptised 2nd August 1747 and buried 7th April 1765.

Benjamin Laffley, a married man, was buried in Wetheringsett on 16th June 1752, aged 58 and on 22nd July 1781, Ann Laughley was buried there. She was not described as "widow" although others on the same page were so described. She may have been Benjamin's widow (aged about 80) or his daughter (aged 52).

Another family appears in these registers following the marriage, on 9th October 1727, of Thomas Leftley and Elizabeth Norman. Thomas and Elizabeth had three children, Martha (baptised 1729 and buried 1746), Sarah (baptised 1731 and buried 1752) and Thomas (baptised 1738).
