William Esling c1600-c1680.
The other Eslings who appear in the IGI records give an indication of early settlement in and near Great Saxham, but so far no connection with John and/or Isaac has been possible. The study is complicated because the name can so easily pick up the last consonant of the Christian name - so that John or Stephen become Nesling rather than Esling.

After this, there is a big gap in the records so far collected and further research will be needed to complete the history of this family.
